Tutoring Approach
Having been an educator for over ten years in Mathematics, Business & Management and Computing, I believe that your achievement in your career is measured by the number of life you have positively influenced. An adequate and proper planning has always been my first stage, that is, I do adequately prepare ahead of the class.
I try my best possible at every point to encourage creativity, laying more emphasis on the importance of education to my students and mostly on their course of study, as well as giving them the freedom to think and make new discoveries.
I believe in knowing my student’s background from day one preferably, so as to know their strengths and weaknesses in order to proffer necessary assistance in meeting up to the class standard.
I also owe in high esteem, professionalism; like good leadership skills. Good communication between me and my students is another good aspect that has helped me in the past because you need to gain their confidence for them to open up to you at any particular point while I know when and where to draw the line.
I make sure I create a student-centred learning environment for the students to be able to ask questions that will enhance their learning.
