I prefer to teach in such a way that the student understands the concepts thoroughly and can answer any question asked related to that thing no matter how twisted the question is. Every week I would take a quiz on that weeks contents, because through recall the content gets cemented further in their memory. Once all the content of the syllabus is complete I will go through past papers with the students. I'd first let them complete a past paper under timed conditions then mark it with the student so they understand what the mark scheme requires and then discuss how to improve their answers to get full marks. I'm very flexible with my approach to teaching since I know every student has their own style of learning so I am willing to employ different approaches to teaching to match the needs of the student.
