Our son has been tutored through his triple science IGCSE's by Dr Stephen over Skype lessons for the past year Dr Stephen is a exceptional tutor, his enthusiasm and passion for teaching is clear to see. He has a gift for teaching and is able to inspire and motivate, my son enjoyed his lessons immensely. Stephen is methodical in his teaching and pace was tailored to our sons needs. He has an in depth understanding of the syllabus for each science along with thorough knowledge of the exam marking systems. Initially both we were apprehensive about online tuition but Stephens clear communication, organisation and friendly approachable manner instantly put us at ease. The lessons were focused, individually tailored and designed to build confidence in the subject. At the end of each lesson exam based questions were set for homework that were designed to test knowledge and challenge our son. These were always marked in a timely fashion with detailed feedback our son had a clear understanding of where marks were gaineddand lost. Stephen is a kind and patient tutor, he genuinely cares about the outcomes of his students and was interested in our sons well being both academically and pastorally. He promotes good study habits, the importance of balance between study and other activities. He coaches on exam technique, helping with the creation of study plans and revision timetables and technique. Stephen taught our son skills that are transferable across his other subjects and that can be carried on through his academic life. We are very happy with the tuition son received and do not hesitate in recommending Stephen. Dr Stephen is a gifted tutor, his passion and enthusiasm is evident, he is a positive role model, we feel very blessed that our son benefited from this. Our son achieved 9's in all 3 sciences.

I found Dr Lui very adaptable and patient in teaching my son. My son has learned so much with Dr Lui not only teaching difficult concepts but also with helping how to revise, making study schedules and exam techniques. He paces each lesson just right so you feel challenged but not overwhelmed. He has simplified complex topics and made them understandable and provides excellent exam based homework which supports the learning. Initially I was hesitant about online learning but he made my son comfortable and the lessons are very engaging so my son always looked forward to the lessons. He explains the different concepts in a manner that my son can understand. He offers a lot of support to my son to make him feel valued. He is motivated, qualified and knowledgeable and speaks professionally. My son was originally predicted grade 777 for Triple Science GCSEs but had slipped behind in his end of year 10 exams achieving 665. Dr Lui is well organised with a wealth of experience, he quickly developed a connection and was instrumental in getting my son back on track. As a result my son has surpassed his predicted grade and achieved an amazing grade 999 for his Triple Science GCSEs. We thank Dr Lui so much for all his patience, hard work and guidance for helping our son achieve these grades. I also feel he has contributed immensely with helping our son achieve high grades in other subjects due to the study schedules and weekly advice and encouraging words to my son. I highly recommend Dr Lui to any parent who is looking for a very knowledgeable, genuine and caring tutor.

Dr Lui is a very talented and vastly knowledgeable Science tutor. I have been with Dr Lui for several months now and his lessons are extremely well planned and well organised and tailored to my personality and needs. At first, I was very sceptical with online lessons but he lessons are very engaging to address my weakness. I have attended many other classes in the past where you just read from a textbook but Dr Lui’s lessons are very interactive and he creates his own lesson plans. During the lessons, he asks questions which gets me to think and respond which is both effective and promotes faster learning. He is always patient, always allows me to ask any question and keen to help. He sets me homework that consists solely of exam questions which helps build my knowledge and he gives me so many tips on exam techniques, effective study methods and creating study schedule. As a result of Dr Lui’s support and genuine care, my confidence and test grades in the Sciences has greatly improved. I use to be the bottom of my Science class but now I am the top three of my Science classes. I am so happy to have found Dr Lui and would highly recommend him to any student. My parents are always so happy with the support and care Dr Lui provides me and are extremely grateful for his help.

Stephen is an amazing tutor. His passion and dedication in teaching is beyond words! He has provided online tutoring for my daughter for the past few months for her Triple Science GCSE exams next year. The lessons are excellent and very engaging and interactive. My daughter really enjoys his lessons and has quickly gained a lot of confidence and knowledge through Stephen’s high quality teaching. His always explains everything very clearly and is very patient and approachable. He also offers advice about study methods, techniques and helping her with creating study schedules, which have been invaluable and beneficial for her other subjects. My daughter has been struggling to understand Science GCSE and as a result became very anxious and lacked motivation. She has had several Zoom lessons with Dr Stephen and I can very happily say I am already seeing huge improvements in my daughter’s knowledge and confidence. His style of teaching is very engaging and encourages my daughter to participate. He teaches my daughter to understand topics and he goes through examination-style questions to make sure my daughter has grasped the topic completely and has good exam technique. My daughter has a revived interest in Science and we are so delighted to have found Dr Stephen, he is worth every penny. Dr Lui is an exceptional tutor who has gone over and beyond any tutor we have had in the past. My son was lacked confidence with his iGCSE Edexcel Triple Sciences in both year 9 and 10. We are so fortunate to have found Dr Lui, he is very professional, he genuinely cares for my son’s well-being, very encouraging and provides an exceptional high standard of personalised science lessons. My son absolutely loves his tutoring lessons and looks forward to his effective online sessions every week. Dr Lui teaches weak topics and provides excellent and thorough exam based homework. Dr Stephen helped my son to prepare for biology/chemistry/physics IGCSE exams through weekly zoom sessions. I feel that the online format was in no way inferior to in-person tutoring. He is not only teaching the subject material to the kids, he also provides study schedule/ study techniques which will be important for them even during university years. His method of tuition is exam based, providing homework which he marks, subsequently discussing to learn from the mistakes made. It is highly effective in finding the gaps your child might have in school. He provides continuous feedback to the parent as well about the progress he is making with the tutee. I can highly recommend him and I consider his service a long time investment in my son's academic future.
