Experience:

I am professional and experienced  German and  English teacher with 9+ years of experience. I have been teaching German Language for different levels, any Subject taught in German and DaF as well.  Moreover, I enjoy tutoring students and helping them build confidence in their ability to achieve their goals. I also have artistic and computer skills that will be an asset during teaching. My aims of tutoring are that, to show the students (Kids, Teenagers or adults) the basics, and then strengthen them a variety of practice exercises and ask them figure out the answers themselves. If in doubt, I would keep prompting them to find the right answers thereby helping them to achieve the right concepts. Furthermore, I can help them with preparation for Tests ( A1, A2, B1, B2), "Zertifikat Deutsch" and "Start Deutsch". I have got Masters degree from Leipzig University with major DaF. I've tutored a number of different students at all ages and levels of ability. Between college and graduate school, I was able to work as an Au pair in Germany. During this experience, I tutored several children. I've also helped my peers learn topics we were studying as an undergraduate, and I helped Chinese international students with English. I understand how difficult it can be to learn languages. I specialize in English , German and teaching Arabic for Foreigners. I find tutoring extremely rewarding for myself, and when students experience success and reach their goals, they are rewarded as well. I take a lot of pride in my ability to help students work through learning obstacles, and have fun along the way. In my free time, I like to travel, read, play tennis, and play with my dog. Other interests include Photography and languages.

Notes on German Language

You have set a target of 3 months. Identify what you want to learn in 3 months. This could mean learning enough to be able to greet people, ask for directions, order food, etc. Learning everything that there is to know about the German language in a span of mere three months is a much desired idea, but impossible to achieve. I’ll assume that you are a curious student who is completely new to the German language. The German language is wonderful to learn, full of grammatical rules that are simple to understand, and words that are easy to remember and pronounce. I’m sure that you will love it. I do! Like learning any other language, you must hear it, write it, read it, and interact in it. What you hear, write, read at the elementary stage is important because it instills either a love or a fear of the subject. Moreover, it should be at your pace of understanding. This will help you to become familiar with it and feed it into your mind in small pieces. In 3 months, you will surely be able to learn some basic vocabulary and the method of using it to form coherent sentences. This would include the following: Articles. For example, in English, this would be a, an, the. Some common nouns, proper nouns. For example, names of objects, such as animals, insects, colours, seasons, days of the week, etc. Some verbs and the method of conjugating them. For example, in English, this would be: I am, you are, he is, they are, I try, you try, he tries, they all try, etc. Adjectives. Personal pronouns. Some basic phrases used in everyday communication. For example, greetings, polite expressions, etc. Do bear in mind that to produce writing that is grammatically correct and free from spelling mistakes, you will need writing practice and a teacher who will check your text and rectify you as you proceed. To become comfortable in speaking, at the beginning, you will need a capable partner who is encouraging, patient, who speaks slowly, clearly, and gently corrects you as you learn to speak. If you are passionate about learning or possess a flair for languages, in a short time, you would be able to master more vocabulary than is usually expected. There are various methods, tricks, and apps that help you to remember words and rules. You can set targets for yourself, such as learning a fixed number of words per week and forming simple sentences with the vocabulary that you learnt. For example, 10 words per week. Identify what it takes for you to learn it well, with the minimal effort. This could mean learning with a group of friends, solo, classroom, or experiential learning. Of course, having the right teacher will make all the difference. Feel free to reach out to me. I’d be happy to help!
