I can teach Science subjects, Math, French and Arabic
I taught one year french language in a school in lebanon and while I was studying in the university I used to gave supplementary courses in Science, Physics, Chemistry and Math for students and I helped them in their agenda.This year in QAtar i taught biology, physics and chemistry for two secondary students: one is in class 11 ( IGCSE ) and the other in last year (official exam).
My aim as a tutor is to create in my students a deep understanding and confidence in answering exam questions and being able to tackle new and unfamiliar problems. My philosophy is based on the idea that learning happens in an environment of mutual respect in which the student is encouraged to think and make new connections for themselves. My approach varies depending on the student’s needs and learning style. However my teaching philosophy is based on encouraging students to think for themselves, using real-world examples wherever possible. I start from topics the students are comfortable with and move gradually towards more complex areas as their confidence builds. I use questions and examples to check understanding continually. I don’t lecture to students or ask them to memorise things. Nor do I do the students’ homework for them!I believe passionately in the huge value of tutoring to students and take great satisfaction in seeing my students achieve their full potential.

Hello everybody, So about my tuition experience it was with the kids in my neighborhood in Mauritius. First it was just for fun because I love teaching. It’s start by one neighbor, after it was two , three for five. As I was still in schools it was a nice way for me to get a pocket money for myself. It was also nice to see the kids to be passionate and every time it was also an opportunity for me to grow up with this children as they were always coming with a lot of surprise.
For me when I start to teach in my country. My tactics was to make the children interested and to make it fun for them. All children don’t learn the same way. So my approach is to first understand the child, how he/she understands and don’t understand why they don’t understand. And come on with different solutions, which will suit him/her. Even if the child is taking time (every kids have his/her way and speed of learning) It will be a really a personal training. With maximum two kids. My ideal is one kid where I can really have a follow up.

BS: Civil/Mechanical Engineer; Masters Mathematics - New York University; Masters Computers - Carnegie Mellon University;
As a tutored at New York University for undergraduate students, I supported students struggling in mathematics and Physics. Also, I tutored, for high school and middle school after-school educational programs for college-bound students. My strength is allowing students to discuss what they understand - a general type of assessment. Shy students, often require a more talkative tutor. Hands-on demonstrations really help. I learned how many teachers taught and maybe the students learned.
Method 1. Greeting your student and discussing their day- 2. Review the previous lesson and ask probing questions 3. Outline your goals for the session 4. Presentation and discussion 5. Be flexible 6. Do they really understand the topic: introduce a project – a Tinker-Thought Design or Solution to a Problem 7. Sweet endings 1. Greeting your student: Saying hello and establish eye contact, be friendly, and try to establish a common bond with them. Ask your student how they got on at school last week, and if there is anything that they would like to cover whilst you are there. 2. Outline of goals for the session: I use a written plan on structuring my time with the student during the session. Informing the student what we will cover, and try to stick to it. 3. Presentation and discussion: I take time to explain the topic in a systematic. If math I review the concept. I start with the basics and build up. In addition to teaching the core material, I provide everyday examples of how it is used. 4. Be flexible: If you notice that your student is particularly tired or mentally drained on a given day, don’t be afraid to veer from previously laid plans and put the focus on fun. Sometimes, the most pleasurable and effortless ways of learning can also be the most effective! 6. Do they understand the topic: I watch out for subtle signs that their students are failing to grasp an important idea. I go over the concepts again in a different way and always try to use it as simple and as a practical example as possible so that your student does not feel that the concept is too esoteric or intellectually demanding. 7. Sweet endings: As the lesson draws to a close, I can also take advantage of the last few minutes by referring the student to interesting websites that will provide practice tests and/or games that will enable them to reinforce their understanding of the concepts learned during the tutoring session.
