My style of teaching is rather engaging not lecture oriented. I also tend to usually direct my lessons based on past paper questions or worksheets.
I plan my lesson so that I start the class with introducing the topic for about 15 minutes (if it's a difficult concept, usually takes less time), then moving on to perfect that concept with the help of past paper questions, as well as worksheets. If the student finds difficulty in a specific area of the concept I move on to further explanation of that concept through premade, handwritten notes (personally made by me) then back to practicing questions. I make sure by the end of the day the student has perfected the concept and leave with giving the student a challenging question to do by themselves.
